Creative Choreography

Pipers Corner was ablaze with creativity at this year’s Choreography Competition. The annual event is a great opportunity for girls of all ages to showcase their dance ideas as they choreograph and present their own dance piece.

Entrants from Year 6, Year 7 and Year 8 were keen to show their dancing skills and they dazzled the audience with a range of styles from modern to ballet.

Adjudicators, Miss Snellgrove, Mrs Wood and Felicity B (Year 6) were faced with the tricky task of selecting the winners. In the end first place and runner-up awards were announced in Junior and Senior categories as follows:

Junior

• Winner – Verity B (Year 6)
• Runners up – Dulcie A and Esme Y (Year 6)

Senior

• Winner - Ella C, Taryn M, Lily H, Grace-Mary F and Hannah W (Year 8)
• Runners up - Alicia O and Hollie R (Year 8)
                        Justine J (Year 7)
