Visit Pipers | Pipers Corner School

Visit Pipers

There is no better way to experience Pipers Corner School than by visiting us in person and we cannot wait to welcome you.

With two whole school Open Mornings (October and Spring), individual family tours most weekday mornings and a series of experiential events and informative parent sessions, we are always striving to support our prospective families as they explore options for their child's education, consider whether Pipers could be the right fit for them and explore what it means to be part of the Pipers community.

Our flagship whole-school Open Morning event will take place on Saturday 4 October 2025 and offers an invaluable chance for parents considering the School to see our girls, dedicated staff and our fantastic facilities in action.

At the event, each tour will start with a welcome talk from the Headmistress in our 280-seater Arts Centre Theatre and then each family will be taken on a tour of the School by one of our lovely student tour guides ending with refreshments from our wonderful catering team. During the tour you will see all our academic subjects in action, as well as our huge array of sporting, arts and other extra-curricular activities and be able to ask questions of the teachers and staff you meet along the way. At the end of your visit, the Admissions Team will be on hand to discuss all things related to our registration and application processes.

Booking will formally open in September, with bookable time slots, but you can reserve a spot at what is always a sell-out event now using the link below.

October 2025 Open Morning at Pipers | Reserve your space now

We will hold a second Open Morning at the start of the Summer Term.

Every November, we open up our doors to our own Years 10 and 11 students, as well as to those families who might be considering joining our incredible Sixth Form.

At this event, families will have the opportunity to hear from our Academic Deputy Head and Sixth Form Leadership Team, including our Senior Prefects, and explore more than 25 A Level subjects that are on offer to our Sixth Form students.

The application process for Sixth Form entry (including Scholarships) will open after this event.

Individual tours are available most mornings during the working week at scheduled times, to coincide with independent study periods of our Sixth Form Tour Guides. Visiting the School on a one-to-one basis enables families to get a real feel for the school environment and sample the atmosphere for themselves.

As an all-through-School, not only do you get the chance to visit the part of the School most relevant to your daughter at the point of entry, but you will also get to see the areas of the School which your daughter will grow into.

Subject to availability, some of our tours can be accompanied by a meeting with the Headmistress. Priority is given to those families considering the upcoming academic year of entry. Please speak to the Admissions Team for more information.

Previous Conversation & Coffee Events:

Understanding the Academic Journey | Thursday 28 November 2024

Led by our Deputy Head (Academic), Mrs Derbyshire, this talk offered parents a valuable insight into the nature of secondary education and the approach of Pipers in ensuring that each student reaches their unique potential.

Individual Learning and Neurodiversity in School | Thursday 13 February 2025

Led by our own Educational Psychologist, and Head of Individual Learning, Ms Britnell, this event discussed the ways in which the Individual Learning provision at Pipers is seamlessly integrated into everyday school life and shed light on the many ways in which we support each and every student to achieve their learning potential.

Student Wellbeing at Pipers | Thursday 5 June 2025

With a panel of key pastoral staff members, including our Deputy Head (Pastoral), Head of Wellbeing, a Head of Year and a Form Tutor, this event offered a fantastic insight into the holistic and integrated approach to student wellbeing that we take at Pipers and our commitment to creating an environment and support system in which every student can grow and thrive. The panel shared a wealth of information that answered many of the common pastoral concerns that we hear from parents and attendees had the opportunity to ask their own questions of the panel.

We are always looking for ways for prospective students and their families to get a genuine insight into life here at Pipers - whether that's being inspired by a member of our academic teaching staff in a lesson, exploring the natural world with our wilderness experts in our dedicated Forest School or channelling their creativity in a Dance, Music and Drama workshop.

Our programme of events run across the year and target different entry points of the School - Pre-Prep, Prep, Senior and Sixth Form. Please email our Admissions team if you are interested in attending this type of events - [email protected].
