SCHOOL FEES | ACADEMIC YEAR 2024-2025

Following the Chancellor's confirmation that VAT will be charged on independent school fees, at the standard rate of 20%, our termly fees for the Spring and Summer Terms 2025 can be found below.

We are pleased to be able to mitigate some of this additional cost for our parents by bearing half the cost of VAT. We will do this by reducing our core fees from 1 January 2025, so that the net effect after VAT represents a 10% increase on pre-VAT levels.

SCHOOL FEES | ACADEMIC YEAR 2025-2026

Looking ahead to fees for the 2025-2026 academic year, and using the above fees as the new baseline, the Governors have agreed that fees, including VAT, will rise by no more than 7% (although we hope that the actual increase might prove to be lower once we have ascertained what VAT sums can be reclaimed).

It is worth noting that if fees were to rise by 7%, the fee level exclusive of VAT would still be lower than the Autumn Term 2024 fee level; in other words, the School will still be absorbing some of the cost of VAT being introduced.

The Governors hope that their commitment at this early stage on what the maximum fee increase might be for 2025-2026 will give parents enough certainty to make financial plans, not just for the remainder of this year but for next year as well.
