Independent Schools Inspectorate

School Inspection Report | March 2026

At Pipers, we believe every girl deserves to be truly seen — known for who she is, encouraged for who she can become, and surrounded by a community that celebrates her strengths. This has always been our promise to families, and it was a joy to share this with the Independent Schools Inspectorate during their visit in February 2026.

Pipers Corner School met all of the required Independent School Standards across every area of the inspection.

The ISI findings reaffirm everything that makes Pipers such a special place. Inspectors recognised the “values‑led decisions” that shape daily life here, and how our approach places each student’s wellbeing, personal development and academic journey in thoughtful balance. They saw girls who flourish because they experience “independence, resilience and self-awareness within an open and inclusive culture.” For me, this affirmation speaks to the extraordinary dedication of our staff — experts in their field, who go above and beyond to ensure every pupil feels known, supported and inspired to thrive.

The report captures the richness of a Pipers education. It celebrates the “nurturing, creative and family‑oriented ethos” of our Pre‑Prep, the “broad and challenging programme” that energises learning in the Senior School, and the meaningful leadership experiences that shape our Sixth Formers into confident young adults ready to step into the wider world. Inspectors described students who are articulate, curious and eager for challenge — girls who embrace opportunity with warmth, courage and joy.

I am especially proud of the ISI’s recognition of our safeguarding culture as “robust, well understood and consistently implemented.” Families place deep trust in us, and it is a privilege to provide an environment where pupils feel safe, supported and encouraged to develop into compassionate, grounded and ambitious young people.

This report is more than an evaluation; it is a celebration of a community united by kindness, purpose and heart. I am endlessly proud of the staff who pour their expertise and passion into every school day, and of the girls whose enthusiasm, spirit and determination bring Pipers to life.
