In a special event organised with our Senior Library and Chorley Bookshop, we were pleased to welcome the energetic and dynamic Liz Fost, an acclaimed interactive storyteller who brings to life much-loved stories by Rachel Bright and Jim Field.

As part of the visit, Liz and her very willing Pre-Prep volunteers, told the heart-warming story of 'The Turtle who Turned the Tide', where a baby turtle must make a brave decision, to either win the race or turn back to rescue her brother.

Originally trained as an actor, Liz has worked or many leading Children’s Theatre companies including Norwich Puppet Theatre, The Unicorn Theatre and Polka Theatre for Children, as well as writing and performing her own shows all over the country. Her specialisation is using drama in education, which has head her to work with Shakespeare’s Globe, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, The Little Angel Puppet Theatre and Savvy Theatre Company.

This inspiring story was a big hit with our students, who all enjoyed the singing, dancing and puppetry. A great boost for our student creativity, helping them spark their imaginations and grow their confidence.

You can find out more about Liz on her website here.
