From Thursday 22 November to Saturday 24 November the Chiltern Hills were alive with The Sound of Music. This year's senior school production was very much a community show and involved many more people than just our senior girls - younger girls, members of staff and even a boy made up the cast!

The Landau Hall was transformed into the beautiful Nonnberg Abbey and almost 30 members of the cast were transformed into genuflecting, Latin singing nuns. The stage was set for a singing sensation.

The music was conducted by Director of Music, Mrs Caroline Moss, who said, "I was incredibly proud of our collective achievements, The Sound of Music is not an easy show to stage and everyone approached it with dedication and commitment and rose to the challenge beautifully."

The cast were fantastic and the level of talent shone out for all to see and with standing ovations at every performance the audiences were, quite rightly, impressed.

Miss Heather Andrew, Director of the show and Head of Drama said, "having envisaged the production as a journey through Maria's life, the cast, crew and band brought this to life in fabulous fashion. I am very proud of everyone for making it such a superb success. The support from parents and the wider Pipers community must also be commended so my thanks go to everyone involved for what has been a triumphant production."
