Community links and charity work

All Sixth Formers have the opportunity to get involved in both the school community and our surrounding community. In school, all Lower Sixth students are responsible for an individual form where they assist the form tutor with School Council., Magazine and environmental issues, as well as ensuring that their form is a happy community.

Some Sixth Form assist in lower school PE, dance or drama lessons and in Upper Sixth girls can apply to work in the Pre-Prep Creche. The Sixth Form engage with our local community as they deliver Harvest Baskets each autumn, sing at Nancy Hall Court at Christmas or engage in a year long commitment working at Ash Hill School in High Wycombe.  We are very excited that in August 2014 we will be extending our community work abroad as girls will be working at St. Mark's School in Uganda for the first time.

The Sixth Form play a key role in developing charity initiatives within the school. The Heads of Houses and House Charity Reps help organise and run initiatives for the school's main charity, St. Mark's School in Uganda. In addition to this the Sixth Form support a charity chosen by the year group and the Prefects are responsible for organising events to help raise money.
