Art Whole School

Once again the halls and classrooms of Pipers Corner were adorned with art, textiles and design work for the 2013 Art Exhibition. Girls from Prep to Sixth Form demonstrated excellent creativity in what was a truly outstanding event.

Many parents and friends visited the school to look round and enjoy the work on display. They were also treated to afternoon tea and cake shop run by our Catering and Hospitality students.

Visitors were able to view work created by the girls using a range of techniques including painting and sketching, sculpture, pottery, photography, dressmaking, drypoint printmaking, woodwork and furniture design.

Themes for this year’s artwork included “Personal Identity” (Year 7), “Cultures” (Year 8), “War, Conflict and Injustice” (Year 9 and GCSE), “Old and New” (A Level).
