This week saw Year 4 and 5 perform their Summer Term Drama productions.

Year 4 performed “The Goblin Next Door”.  The play was set in the Fairy Woods where Mr Goblin buys a house, but doesn’t quite get on with his fairy neighbours.  He is a very rude goblin and disrupts the annual Fairy Ball and a birthday party.

Year 5 gave an ambitious performance of Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhyme of “Goldilocks and the Three Bears”.  The rhyme tells the story of what happened after Goldilocks went to the Three Bears house.  The final scene is set in a court room where Goldilocks is standing trial for stealing porridge and breaking chairs.  It is for the jury to decide whether she is innocent or guilty.

Using the performing arts skills they have developed over the course of the academic year  all the girls performed exceptionally well and with great enthusiasm.

Head of Prep Drama, Ms Halton said, “I am very proud of all the girls and the effort they have put into this term’s productions. Both audiences were very impressed and it has been a lovely way to round off their year’s work in Drama.”
