Over the summer, 15 students from Years 8-11 joined the Geography Department on an incredible four-day trip to Iceland. The cooler temperatures provided the perfect escape from the UK heatwave, while the beautiful weather made sightseeing even more enjoyable.

Students explored some of Iceland's most spectacular landmarks, including the bridge between the continents of Europe and North America, Strokkur geyser, Solheimajokull glacier, and Thingvellir, the site of Iceland's first parliament. Highlights included witnessing breathtaking waterfalls and relaxing in the Secret Lagoon, a naturally geothermally heated pool.
