Year 11 complete exciting Sixth Form Induction

We were proud to wrap up an incredible three-day induction programme for our 2026–2028 Sixth Form cohort, and what a fantastic few days it was!

The induction began on Monday 29 June 2026 with a series of team-building activities led by a company of experts from Wise-Up, giving students the opportunity to get to know one another, build confidence and form new friendships ahead of September.

Throughout the week, students took part in a range of engaging activities designed to prepare them for Sixth Form life. These included academic coaching sessions, futures planning workshops featuring psychometric testing and careers cloud activities, and an introduction to the wide variety of enrichment opportunities available. From Young Enterprise, Debating and Model United Nations (MUN) to Flight School, students discovered the many ways they can enrich their Sixth Form experience beyond the classroom.

The programme also included a selection of creative wellbeing activities, such as pebble painting, bracelet making and bookmark crafting, alongside a mini Sports Day that brought plenty of energy, teamwork and fun.

Students were able to experience academic taster sessions across all A Level and Level 3 courses, including Core Maths and the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).

We rounded off the induction with a surprise silent disco and gift bags, complete with words of wisdom from our current Year 12 students and a few well-earned sweet treats.

We hope every student left with fond memories, new friendships and a real sense of excitement for the journey ahead. We look forward to welcoming them back in September as they begin the next chapter of their Sixth Form experience.
