The school day
At Pipers we recognise that the needs of families in the 21st Century can be complex. Our extended school day means that girls are welcome in school from as early as 7.30am when they can join the boarding community for breakfast. They can also remain in school well after lessons end.


Uniform
Pipers operates a uniform policy which not only ensures that all our girls are dressed smartly but also helps to enable girls to feel part of the school community.


Pastoral care
There is a clearly defined pastoral care structure in the school and all girls have daily contact with their Form Tutors who monitor their progress. We encourage an exploration of personal values and beliefs as well as a respect for the values and beliefs of others.


Coaches and travel
Set high in the Chilterns, Pipers Corner is less than one hour from central London and Heathrow and has excellent rail and motorway connections. For girls travelling into school on a daily basis, we run a number of coach routes to transport them to and from school.


The House System
The House System at Pipers Corner enriches the life of the school as a whole. All girls become a member of one of four Houses - the names of which have a local historical association. The Houses are made up of day girls and boarders from all year groups and give an extra dimension to the social structure of the school.


Chaplaincy and Worship
The spiritual life of the school, with our Chapel as the focus, offers a variety of opportunities for worship and reflection. Our School Chaplain is on hand to reach out to both students and staff and offer them the chance to ask questions and find out about God.
