The House System at Pipers Corner enriches the life of the school as a whole. All girls at Pipers become a member of one of four Houses - the names of which have a local historical association:
- Hampden
- Mandeville
- Milton
- Penn
The Houses are made up of day girls and boarders from all year groups and give an extra dimension to the social structure of the school.

The Houses play a significant part in the life of Pipers Corner. Each House meets weekly in its own assembly, to which the girls contribute on a regular basis. Throughout the year a variety of Inter-House competitions are organised in areas such as sport, music, creative writing and debating.
The culmination of the Inter-House sports calendar is the school's annual Sports Day – this event always opens with the Houses parading round the track with their cheerleaders, banners and colourful bunting.
|
The Houses also participate in raising money for charity, usually organising at least one fundraising activity per term such as a cake sale, raffle, treasure hunt, car washing or sponsored event.
|
Each House has a member of the teaching staff as Head of House who is in overall charge. However much of the responsibility for the running of each House lies with the Sixth Form House Captain, her Vice-Captain, Sports Captain, Sixth Form House Members and Junior Captains. This is one way in which girls at Pipers can experience leadership opportunities.
The girls develop a sense of commitment to their House and enjoy the friendly rivalry during competitions. They are able to identify and integrate with other age groups and feel part of a unit beyond their immediate peer group.
