Pipers girls rocked the night away last night at the annual "Party at Pipers". Mr McNulty's guitar and drum pupils demonstrated their talents during an evening of live music performances.
|
Warming up the crowd for the girls, Miss Carwardine's band "Transient Few" performed a number of their own original songs as well as cover versions including "California Dreamin'" by the Mamas & the Papas.
|
Then came the main event with performances from a number of different groups as well as some solo items. Songs that the girls performed included:
- "How to save a life" by The Fray
- "Sweet Child of Mine" by Guns ‘N Roses
- "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol
- "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree" by KT Tunstall
|
Mr McNulty was rightly proud of all the girls and said "A massive congratulations and thank you to all the girls who performed tonight. They've all worked really hard on the pieces and I'm sure as the audience you will agree that their performances were fantastic."
