A Level Results 2008 - 14/08/08

Girls from Pipers Corner School found out that all their hard work had really paid off when the A Level results were announced today. With an overall pass rate of 99%, the school is extremely proud of all the girls and their achievements.

Special congratulations go to Eleanor Holmes and Rachel Wilson. Both girls achieved fantastic "A" grades in three A Levels and one AS Level each, securing their places at Oxford University.

Rachel, who will be reading Medicine at Pembroke College said, "I'm ecstatic and feel so pleased and proud of what I've achieved". Eleanor, who will be reading Psychology and Philosophy at University College, added "I'm so relieved and happy that all my hard work was worthwhile. It's really amazing and I'm so excited that both Rachel and I are going to Oxford – I can't wait for October now!"

In addition to these fantastic individual successes we are delighted that so many of the Upper Sixth girls achieved the grades they needed for places at other top UK universities including: Warwick, Loughborough, Exeter, Nottingham and Keele.
