During November Pipers Corner welcomed a representative from Ofsted into school to carry out an inspection of our boarding provision. We are delighted to announce that we were judged as having a strong provision for boarding.
It was our first full boarding inspection since March 2004 and we were delighted with the outcome, just three months after the appointment of our new Head of Boarding.

Particularly pleasing are the sections of the report which allude to the girls' experience and also to how parents feel about boarding at Pipers, "Boarders receive high levels of support from a number of staff at school and outside. Parents feel that the staff communicate well with them and that they provide a safe and friendly environment for their children."
Headmistress, Mrs Helen Ness-Gifford commented, "We were extremely pleased to have this formal endorsement of what we know is an incredibly positive and productive boarding environment. The standards are rigorously enforced by Ofsted so this is a considerable achievement for our boarding community."
The full report will shortly be available to read online on Ofsted's website: www.ofsted.gov.uk
