Assistant Director of Music

Finance Manager
Pipers Corner School is an independent day and boarding school for girls aged 3 to 18, with around 500 pupils, more than 100 staff and an annual income of approximately £6 million. Due to retirement, the school is seeking to appoint a Finance Manager to start in April. Reporting to the Bursar, the Finance Manager will be responsible for the preparation of financial and management accounts, invoicing and debt collection, budgetary control, cash management and payroll preparation. He or she will also be responsible for the management and supervision of the work of other accounts staff.
The successful candidate will have a confident, hands-on approach and good communication skills, as well as good financial management experience. A recognised accounting qualification is preferable but not essential. Salary in the range £30,000 to £35,000 depending on qualifications and experience, with six weeks annual holiday.
