Welcome World - 18/06/10
The world came to Pre-Prep recently as the girls celebrated International Day. Pre-Prep was decorated with flags and all the girls dressed up in costumes that represented countries from around the world.


Community Celebration - 16/06/10
The entire school community came together on Tuesday morning to share in a whole school assembly outside on the lawn. Fortunately the sun was shining as the girls explored the theme of God's creation through art.


Inter-House Swimming - 15/06/10
Girls in Prep through to Year 9 have taken part in a series of Inter-House Swimming Galas over the last two weeks. All the girls involved showed a fantastic amount of House Spirit and pride as they competed in their races.


Brilliant Bowling - 11/06/10
Eleanor Waite (Year 8) has had a fantastic start to the season playing for the Bucks U13 girls' cricket team. After three games they are the only unbeaten team in the U13 South League. Eleanor has produced two very impressive bowling performances and currently stands in the top 16 girls nationally in terms of wickets taken.


Successful Sevens - 10/06/10
Year 9 student Victoria Horwood demonstrated her talent on the rugby field recently when the team she plays for, Bucks Jesters Under 15s, won the U15 Rugby Sevens Bowl in a countrywide tournament held in Tring. The U15 team had never played rugby sevens before so this was a fantastic achievement for Victoria and her teammates.


Mysteries of Medieval Medicine - 27/05/10
This week girls in LIV (Year 7) spent a beautifully sunny day at Kenilworth Castle to complement their study of History. Half the day was spent on a tour of the castle and the other half of the day was spent in the company of a medieval barber surgeon whose re-enactments and descriptions of medieval medicine both horrified and enthralled the girls!


The 3Rs of Recycling - 25/05/10
Pipers Pre-Prep girls were introduced to the 3Rs of recycling recently when a representative from Buckinghamshire County Council Recycling Centre came to talk to them about the importance of "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle".


Singing for England - 21/05/10
Pipers student and keen football fan Jess Nangle (Year 11) has scored a personal goal of her own by becoming a recording artist and releasing a single entitled "England's Dream" to spur on the England Football team in this year's World Cup.
