The glamour of the big screen came to Pipers last Friday night as Girls in UIII and LIV enjoyed a very special "movie night". Organised by girls studying for a BTEC in Hospitality and with traditional film snacks including popcorn and milkshakes it was an enjoyable evening for all involved.

With 30 girls in pyjamas and with blankets and sleeping bags there was a slumber party atmosphere as they all settled down to watch a movie. After the film had finished the girls rounded the evening off with a pillow fight before going home for a much needed rest!

Sixth Form student and event organiser Alice Einchcomb said, "I put on this event as part of my BTEC course. I felt that it would be an opportunity to help the UIII's with their transition into the senior school so they could get to know some of the older girls better, I felt that the evening was a great success and from the mess afterwards I think the girls enjoyed themselves too!"
