The curriculum for the Lower Sixth (Year 12) and Upper Sixth (Year 13) offers over 20 subjects and provides and exciting and challenging variety of study options.

Most girls in the Sixth Form study four AS level subjects in the Lower Sixth (year 12) and continue studying three of those subjects, sometimes four to A2 in the Upper Sixth (year 13).

The A level subjects currently available include:

  • Mathematics/Further Maths
  • Business Studies
  • Music
  • Chemistry
  • Physical Education
  • Dance
  • Physics
  • Drama and Theatre Studies
  • Product Design (Design and Technology) 
  • English Literature
  • Psychology
  • French
  • Religious Studies 
  • Geography 
  • Sociology
  • German
  • Spanish
  • History
  • Textiles
  • Hospitality Management (BTEC National Subsidiary Diploma)

In addition to their A level courses, girls follow an enrichment programme in which they have the opportunity to discuss broader current issues such as:

  • The impact of science and technology
  • The workings of society and politics
  • The media and their influence on public opinion
  • Value systems and questions of morality

Sixth Formers also devise their own fitness routine and participate in class Physical Education.
