Facilities
Our Sixth Form girls are able to take advantage of all the excellent facilities the school has to offer. In addition they have their own private area, "The Spinney", which houses a comfortable sitting room, separate study areas and a fitted kitchen.
Extra-curricular activities
A diverse range of clubs and activities had long been central to life at Pipers and has a vital part to play in the development of each girl as a well-rounded individual. With a large selection of lunch-time and after school clubs and activities to choose from, girls are encouraged to discover their own interests in sports, technology, travel and outdoor pursuits, performing and creative arts, health and science.
Responsibilities
There are many opportunities for leadership in the Sixth Form. For example, we have a Head Girl with a team of deputies and girls carry out other duties like supervising the lunch queue and showing visitors around the school.
Pastoral care
Our comprehensive pastoral care system ensures that individual effort and achievement are monitored and personal and academic targets are identified. Every girl is placed in the care of a tutor who, in addition to managing the routines of the form group, fosters the development of personal and moral responsibility.
