Pipers Pre-Reception and Reception girls went on an exciting trip to Great Missenden Library yesterday. On arrival at the Library they were introduced to the Librarian, Linda Tucker, who sat the girls down and read three stories to them - all relating to the library and the services available.

The girls sat beautifully with complete concentration and after story time they were given the opportunity to date stamp their own book inserts with different colour ink stamps. Each girl was given a book mark activity sheet to bring back to school with them. They were delighted to have access to so many colourful books and spent thirty minutes or more browsing through many of them.
We had a wonderful visit and Linda Tucker said the girls were so well behaved we are welcome to return at anytime and suggested perhaps the older girls in Pre-Prep would enjoy a visit.
