20 girls from Pipers had the opportunity to join a cruise over the Easter holidays. Along with Mrs Gledhill and Mrs Bates, they all agreed that it was a truly memorable experience as they got to see the most amazing sights.

The trip took in three different countries: Egypt, Jordan and Israel. In Egypt the highlights were a visit to the Cairo National Museum (including the Mummies room) and seeing the Great Pyramids. The girls also went to Luxor to see the Valley of the Kings and the incredible temple at Karnak.

The Treasury at Petra in Jordan was a sight to behold having been carved out of the sandstone.

In Israel the girls had the opportunity to lie in the Dead Sea, the lowest place on planet earth and then on to see the wonderful site of Masada where the Jews tried so bravely to defend themselves from the Romans.

On the final day the whole group swam in the Red Sea and saw the ancient coral reefs.

Other notable moments were an evening river cruise down the Nile complete with a performance from a Belly Dancer and a Whirling Dervish who span around for 11 minutes!

It really was a visit never to be forgotten.
