There were some spooky goings on at Pipers before the half-term break as the Boarders got into the spirit of Halloween as with a themed supper to mark the occasion. All the girls dressed up as ghosts, ghouls, witches and black cats as they enjoyed some creatively themed food.
Dishes on offer included Swamp Water & Witches' Scabs, Bat Wings & Cave Wall Scrapings, Rotting Compost and Graveyard Cake & Witches' Hair.
The dining room was decorated with skeletons, ghostly figures, bats and witches hats and on every table were the pumpkins that the girls themselves had carved the day before.
It was a really enjoyable evening rounded off with the opportunity for the girls to spin their own candy floss!
Another group getting in the spirit of Halloween were girls in the Prep Gardening Club. Having grown and harvested pumpkins in their allotments, they had great fun carving faces into them.
