Year 2 had a very exciting afternoon when Sister Ryan came to talk to them about medicines and their uses. She discussed different types of medicines with the girls, when they are used and stressed how important it is to only take them when given to them by a doctor or mummy and daddy when they are ill.
Sister Ryan also brought her teaching stethoscope, with two sets of earpieces, and everyone listened to their own heart beat, proving that they were all alive!
Finally she produced some bandages and everyone had fun having a go at bandaging themselves or someone else. On arriving, parents were surprised to find their children all bandaged up and the girls enjoyed a joke at their expense.
