The girls in LIV put in some outstanding performances last night at the LIV Performance Evening. The audience thoroughly enjoyed being in the courtroom for the trial of Goldilocks, learning the lesson of not talking to strangers from Little Red Riding Hood and seeing the Ugly Duckling overcome various troubles before she became a beautiful swan.
First on stage were LIV1 to present "The Ugly Ducking". The poor ugly duckling, looked different to all her brothers and sisters and even though she could swim just as well was disowned by her family and friends. The audience watched as the Ugly Duckling sought a new place to live before finally, much to her delight she matured into a beautiful swan, the most beautiful bird of all.

Then it was the turn of LIV2 as they put on a musical performance of Roald Dahl's version of "Goldilocks and the Three Bears". On trial for her crimes, Goldilocks looked like a sweet, innocent little girl. Could she really be the thief who broke into the home of the three bears, stole their porridge, broke a chair and slept in baby bear's bed? It was up to the jury to decide in this amusing re-telling of a classic story.

The final performance of the evening came from LIV3 with their take on "Little Red Riding Hood". Despite being told by her mother to go straight to her Grandmother's house, Little Red Riding Hood made the fatal mistake of talking to the Wolf. The audience then saw events unfold as both grandmother and grand-daughter were eaten by the wolf before rescue came in the shape of the Huntsman.

We all had a fabulous time preparing for this evening and all of the girls have worked incredibly hard showing lots of energy, enthusiasm and commitment."
