We were delighted that the Pipers team reached the semi finals where they played a nail biting match against Wycombe Abbey. At full time the score was 1-1 so Golden Goal was played and Wycombe Abbey scored the next goal to reach the final.
Despite the disappointment, Miss Morgan was very pleased with the effort shown by the team and said, "I was delighted with the way the girls played throughout the tournament. They worked as a team and showed a very high level of skill. They whole squad have shown an excellent level of commitment throughout the season and I am very proud of the progress they have made."
In the final match Sir William Ramsay School became the tournament champions after beating Wycombe Abbey 9-6.
