Were you a pupil at Pipers Corner School? Do you have some memories you would like to share? If so, then the current Upper Sixth School Magazine Committee would love to hear from you!

For the last three years “Aquila”, the Pipers Corner School annual magazine, has been student-led with a committee of Upper Sixth girls forming an editorial committee and commissioning articles from other girls as well as members of staff.

The theme for this year's edition is "old to new" and the focus is on how Pipers has changed over the years. Perhaps the photographs included here will take you back to your school days!

The types of things the girls would be delighted to hear about include:

  • Boarding
  • Trips
  • Food
  • Subjects
  • Music/Drama
  • Houses
  • Teachers
  • Charity events
  • Head girls/prefects
  • Sports

The magazine will be split into subject sections so ideally the committee would like to include memories from old girls in each of the different sections. They would also be very grateful for any photos that could be supplied (hard copy or electronically by email).

To submit your recollections please email cornerstones@piperscorner.co.uk or send them via post to Aquila Editor, Pipers Corner School, Pipers Lane, Great Kingshill, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire HP15 6LP.

The girls are working to a deadline so any submissions need to reach us by Monday 20 February 2012.

We look forward to hearing from you and making this year's magazine the best yet!
