A Level success at Pipers - 21/08/09

Pipers Corner School is delighted to announce an increase in A and B grades at A Level this year. 58% of all results were at grades A and B, and almost a third of results were at the highest A grade. Both statistics reflect an improvement on last year's figures and we are extremely proud of all the girls and their achievements.

There were a number of notable individual achievements with several girls achieving straight A grades. A number of girls also gained the maximum marks possible in one or more of their modules.

Headmistress, Mrs Helen Ness-Gifford said, "It is always lovely to see girls, who have worked so hard and shown such dedication to their studies over the years, achieve fantastic results, so we are delighted with the results at AS and A2 Level this year. The number of girls achieving maximum marks in their modules is particularly pleasing and an impressive endorsement not only of the girls' own effort but also the part played by the teaching staff here at Pipers."
